The city and surrounding areas are known for
their raging support for the Washington Redskins.
Whether up or down in the league standings,
it's usually a packed crowd at home games at
the Jack Kent Cooke Stadium in Landover. The
MCI Center is the home to mens and women's
professional basketball and to the areas professional
hockey team. And the Georgetowns Hoyas
are usually near the top of the rankings in
NCAA basketball. If you are looking for a place
to get a workout all your own, you'll find
sports an exciting venture in Washington D.C.

its own)

Jack Kent Cooke Stadium
- In a town where the population is less than
one twentieth the seating capacity of the stadium,

there was no room to expand within the District.
Conveniently located less than four miles from
D.C.'s borders and just off I-295, Landover
evidently was a good choice for the new stadium
location. / Raljon Rd. / Landover MD / 301-276-6000
